Charlotte’s Moosehead Grill Wins Big at 2012 National Buffalo Wing Festival

A big CONGRATULATIONS to Moosehead Grill for winning 1st Place in Creative Hot, 2nd Place in Creative Sweet, and Rookie of the Year at the 2012 National Buffalo Wing Festival held in Buffalo, NY over Labor Day Weekend. Moosehead earned the right to compete after winning the Carolina Wing Festival last fall. Anyone who has ever eaten at Moosehead, knows they have some killer wings. Their other food rocks too.

Hemoglobins (1st place winner)

The Hemoglobins, featuring a fabulous blood orange and ghost pepper sauce, one for Creative Hot. These things will make your eyes glaze over for hours. In addition to the heat from the peppers, they also have a wonderful sweetness from the blood orange.

Moosehead’s Caramel Mole Wings took second place in Creative Sweet Category.

Uncle Donnie’s Blackened

To me, Uncle Donnie’s Blackened will always be the best wings ever. There’s nothing else like them. I could eat dozens.

Fried Cheese with Salsa

In addition to award-winning wings, Moosehead also has delicious burgers, quesadillas, nachos, potato skins, and fried pepper jack cheese served with delicious fresh salsa.

Open daily until 2am
