Tired of watery protein shakes? I have the perfect solution– Avocado. The avocado helps give the shake a thick, smooth, almost silky consistency and it really helps the ingredients bind together. You’ll notice the flavor just a little too, but mainly the avocado influences the texture.
And let’s not overlook the fact that the addition of avocado to your protein shake adds all kinds of nutritional value including healthy fats and nearly 20 vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling healthier already.

I have been meaning to stick an avocado into my smoothies in the morning, but have always backed out last second in fear. Looking forward to trying this recipe out and conquering my avocado slurping fears

You do taste it a little, but it’s subtle.
