My 10 Day Herbal Cleanse is complete and the results are amazing. I’ve lost 4 pounds and 4 inches! I’ve posted my after pictures below. You can see my before pictures and read a little about the Advocare 10 Day Herbal Cleanse here.
How did I lose 4 pounds in 10 Days?
- I followed the Advocare Herbal Cleanse Program and took all supplements.
- Worked out with Zeke Samples of Surreal Body Solutions 3 times a week for 45 minutes. Zeke puts together awesome workouts, no two are alike. So not only am I losing the flab, I’m gaining muscle mass.
- Clean Eating- no soda, coffee, sugar, dairy, or bad fats and lots of water. Eating this way completely got rid of my cravings which were out of control. Before I could eat an entire plate of brownies, might have even fought my kids for the last one. Now I can easily pass sweets up or just have one bite.
I still can’t believe I’ve posted half-naked pictures of myself for the whole world to see, but trust me when I tell you there is no better motivator!

So far I’m really amazed at how easy this process has been. Much easier than the times I’ve done Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig in the past. Best of all, I have completely kicked my Diet Dr. Pepper habit which I have tried to do so many times in the past.
It feels so incredible to be completely in control of what I put in my body and to know that I’m going to enter my forties being in better health than I have been in a long time, maybe ever.
Here are some Cleanse friendly recipes:
Zucchini Pasta with Veggie Sauce
I think the key to the restrictive eating during the cleanse is to stay focused on what you can have instead of what you can’t have. Experiment with some new recipes and try some foods that you don’t normally eat to keep it interesting. I know if I tried to eat a salad with grilled chicken every day, you’d find me in the drive-through line at McDonalds in no time. Concentrate on making healthy foods that you find to be delicious and satisfying and you exponentially increase your odds of success because you will stick with it and you won’t feel deprived.
