Construction of 3 Saussy Burbank homes in Riverwalk is well underway. Riverwalk is a 1,000 acre residential, commercial, and retail community being developed along the Catawba River. Its location just off of I-77 makes it an easy commute to Charlotte, NC. Once completed, the Riverwalk Development will be a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts with a 250M World Class Olympic Velodrome, kayaking access to the Catawba River, and a planned 250 acres being dedicated to public recreation amenities including mountain biking trails, athletic fields, a YMCA, and a climbing wall.
Saussy Burbank builds new homes in the Carolinas with neighborhoods in Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, and Charleston. They already have a presence in York County having built many homes in Baxter, Fort Mill. The homes Saussy Burbank has planned for Riverwalk are high-efficiency green homes with square footage between 1,700 and 2,700 square feet.
The model home is scheduled to be complete in January 2012. It is Saussy Burbank’s Savannah Plan and contains 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The home has approximately 2,680 square feet and plenty of outdoor living space with double porches on the front and one off the rear of the home.

The other two homes being constructed are The Newport, a 3 bedroom/ 2.5 bath home listed for $250,869 and The Cooper, a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath listed for $233, 475.
