Fort Mill residents have reason to celebrate. With the opening of Big Apple Bagels in Tega Cay last week, there is now a place to get bagels in the Fort MIll area. Finally! It’s been a long wait. The store is in the Stonecrest Shopping Center in front of Walmart, just down from Carlos Cafe.
The interior space is beautiful with apple green walls, wood accents, and plenty of seating. Bagels are fresh and chewy and can be spread with cream cheese or made into a sandwich. Besides made from scratch bagels, they also have coffee, a variety if cream cheeses, and muffins. Lots of muffins. I think I’d call this a bagel/muffin shop instead of just a bagel shop. The muffins are beautifully displayed in a glass case next to the cash register and come in regular and mini sizes. Blueberry, Lemon Poppy Sees, Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate are just a few of the flavors. For $1.99, you can add a drink and 3 mini-muffins onto your sandwich order.
Whether it be for breakfast or lunch, head over to Big Apple Bagels to get your bagel fix. It’s sure to be a popular place. Current store hours are 6am-4pm Mondays-Fridays and 7am-4pm on Saturdays.
