This Friday from 6-9pm, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in nearby Belmont, NC will be holding their Harvest Brewed Festival. Last year’s event was sold out and this year’s event is sure to be another successful one.
The festival will feature music, food, and drink. There will be many samples of craft beer, microbrews, and home brews from North Carolina and beyond. Featured brewers include Birdsong (located in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte) and Natty Greene’s (from Greensboro). In addition, there will be a home brewing demonstration by Gastonia resident Verne Deason. Products from Kings Mountain’s Ladybug Farms and Bakery will be available for purchase. They use grains produced from Foothills Brewery in their breads.
Tickets are $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers and include beer samples, a commemorative sampling glass, and appetizers.
